American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-ASPCA
     Founded in 1866 by Henry Bergh, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), was the first humane society established in North America. ASPCA representatives believe that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment by the hands of humans, and must be protected under the law. They maintain a strong local presence with programs that extend our anti-cruelty mission across the country, recognized as a national animals welfare organization. The organization provides local and national leadership in caring for pet parents and pets, providing positive outcomes for at-risk animals, and serving victims of animal cruelty.

Defenders of Wildlife
     Founded in 1947, the Defenders of Wildlife  is a national conservation organization dedicated to the protection of all native animals and plant species in their natural habitats throughout North America. The Defenders of Wildlife believes wildlife and nature brings value and it must be protected. They also protect land and water sources these species use to survive and prosper. They work in many areas of North America, such as Alaska, California, Florida, Northwest, Rocky Mountains and Great Plains, and Southwest.

Panthera
     Panthera is the world's largest feline conservation organization implementing successful conservation strategies to save and protect the world's largest and most endangered wild cats. Tigers, jaguars, lions, and snow leopards are currently on the endangered list.
Their mission is to word hard to ensure the future of wild cats through scientific leadership and global conservation action.
Fundraising and non-program costs are covered by the Board of Directors; however, donations are accepted and 100 percent go directly to Panthera's Conservation and Education Programs.

     Beginning the 1994, the Wildlife Alliance is an organization that works directly with habitats and communities to protect, preserve, and provide. They focus on direct action on the ground and direct access to the people performing everyday tasks. They focus on preserving habitats, conserve the environment, and alleviate poverty.

Wildlife Conservation Society
     The Wildlife Conservation Society was founded in in 1895. Since then the WCS has been saving wildlife and wild places across the world. They are the founders for many conservation organizations and national parks, such as the Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, and Queens Zoo. The Wildlife Conservation Society addresses the major issues facing wildlife: Climate change, resource exploitation, connection between wildlife health and human health, and the sustainable development of human livelihoods.

World Wildlife Fund-WWF
     Helping to protect ecosystems and ensuring that people continue to benefit from nature is the mission of the World Wildlife Fund. They have been around for nearly 50 years, and have helped many species. They are determined to find solutions that save the life on Earth by applying the best science available. The World Wildlife Fund work closely with local communities, and have been part of many successful wildlife recovery stories.
